Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Night shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional care to post-procedural patients recovering from surgery, typically staying 1-3 nights
Monitor and manage patients from cath lab and ER overflow as needed
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Administer medications, perform assessments, and document patient progress
Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate care appropriately

Qualifications

Active RN license in Iowa or compact state
BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
Experience in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing preferred
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, night shift environment

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptability to handle diverse patient populations
