Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, responding quickly to changes
• Educate new parents on baby care, breastfeeding, and recovery
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, personalized birth experiences
• Maintain accurate EPIC documentation

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas or compact state
• 2+ years of experience in L&D and postpartum/mother-baby care
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications
• EPIC proficiency required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of labor and delivery, postpartum, and couplet care
• Skilled in electronic fetal monitoring and EPIC charting
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced acute care environment
