Location: Centennial, Colorado

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert critical care nursing across multiple ICU specialties including MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU
Titrate critical drips including pressors, sedation, paralytics, antiarrhythmics, heparin, and insulin with confidence
Manage ventilators and assist with respiratory needs alongside RT support
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips independently while delivering 1:1-1:2 patient care based on acuity
Float throughout Zone 3 facilities to support patient care needs across a 60-mile radius
Collaborate with designated charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional outcomes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience; 3+ years preferred for first-time travelers
Epic experience strongly preferred for first-time travelers
Comfortable with drip titration and ventilator management

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment in high-acuity settings
Ability to adapt quickly to different ICU environments and patient populations
Proficient with Epic electronic health record system
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Flexible and reliable with scheduling needs
