Location: Breckenridge, Minnesota

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, D/N rotate, weekends every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients in both ER and MedSurg swing settings
Respond quickly and effectively to a variety of emergency situations
Collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure seamless patient experiences
Monitor patients, interpret telemetry strips, and provide timely interventions
Float between units to support the broader care team and maintain excellent outcomes
Educate patients and families while fostering trust and comfort during their stay

Qualifications

Active RN license in Minnesota or compact state
Minimum 2 years of ER experience plus previous MedSurg experience
Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
PALS certification preferred
Comfortable working in a small, rural facility with a tight-knit team

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips independently
Experience floating between ER and MedSurg swing units
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexibility to adapt to rotating day/night schedules
