Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population in a Level 1 Trauma center
• Triage, assess, and stabilize patients with urgent and emergent conditions
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and intervene when necessary
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and port-a-cath insertions as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, midlevels, and the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document accurately in Cerner EMR and maintain compliance with hospital policies
• Float between multiple ER facilities to support staffing needs

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona or a compact state
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience
• At least 6 months of Level 1 Trauma experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (ENPC does not replace PALS)
• TNCC and/or ATCN certification preferred
• Comfortable with Cerner and telemetry monitoring

Knowledge & Skills

• Emergency and trauma nursing best practices
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Strong sterile technique and central line care skills
• Critical thinking and rapid decision-making under pressure
• Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment
