Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients of all ages, from non-critical to emergent conditions
• Respond quickly and confidently to cardiac and trauma emergencies, including pediatric emergencies
• Support patients in need of emergent and urgent mental health care with compassion and professionalism
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary ED team to stabilize and treat patients arriving by walk-in or emergency transport
• Maintain readiness to deliver critical care using advanced skills in ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Document patient care accurately in the Point Click EMR system

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license (required at submission)
• A minimum of 1 year of emergency department nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• High school diploma or equivalent (required for CAP moderate complexity testing)
• Comfort using Point Click EMR
• Passion for caring for a diverse range of patients, including pediatric and mental health patients

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical skills in emergency, cardiac, and trauma care
• Confidence caring for pediatric and adult patients
• Compassionate approach to mental health emergencies
• Ability to stay calm and decisive in high-pressure situations
• Experience with Point Click EMR
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
