Shift Type: Days, Full Time, Rotating shifts as required including on-call with 20 minute response

Bill Rate: $10K annual geographic differential pay

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert radiographic and sonographic exams across all body parts for accurate diagnostics
Apply sharp professional judgment to uphold radiation protection principles
Maintain precise patient records and drive departmental quality assurance
Support patient transfers and step up as department lead when needed
Perform specialized mammography procedures including stereotactic biopsies and quality control
Assist in CT and interventional procedures with sterile technique and contrast management
Pursue ongoing education and adapt to additional imaging modalities like MRI and CT

Qualifications

Current ARRT in Radiography certification
BLS certification within 45 days of hire
Clinical competency assessment within 3 months and every three years
Experience performing diagnostic exams in assigned modalities
Tech levels based on multi-modality certifications including CT, MR, MG, NM, or ARDMS categories

Education

ARRT in Radiography or ARDMS certification required; pursue 5 CEUs in mammography annually per ACR/FDA

Knowledge & Skills

Diagnostic medical radiography and sonography expertise
Patient records maintenance and quality assurance
Mammography skills like breast needle localization and stereotactic biopsy
CT and interventional procedure support including venipuncture goals and sterile technique
Adaptability to pediatric through geriatric patient needs
Ability to thrive in stressful situations and respond to on-call within 20 minutes
