Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand each patient’s needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practices
• Provide individual and group therapy focused on improving behavioral health outcomes
• Perform risk assessments and intervene during crisis situations when needed
• Document clinical care accurately and in a timely manner to support continuity and compliance
• Collaborate with custody and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training to maintain best-practice standards

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted license as a Psychologist, LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC in California (PSYL/LMFT/LCSW/LPCC candidates welcome)
• Comfortable working Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM; 4/10s accepted
• Willingness to complete the required 3-week orientation
• Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic skills

Education

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related behavioral health field (Doctoral preferred for Psychologist roles)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of mental health assessment and diagnosis
• Skilled in individual and group therapy techniques and modalities
• Crisis intervention and risk assessment expertise
• Clear and timely clinical documentation skills
• Collaborative mindset for working with multidisciplinary teams
• Cultural competence and trauma-informed care approach
