Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care including deliveries, gynecologic surgery, and outpatient visits
• Deliver babies at a facility with a Level II NICU and collaborate with University of Cincinnati MFM for complex cases
• Work collaboratively with certified nurse-midwives and the broader care team to deliver patient-centered care
• Participate in a shared call rotation to support continuity of care across the practice
• Mentor and support new graduates and contribute to a collegial learning environment
• Engage with the Cincinnati east-side community to provide compassionate, mission-driven care

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and completion of an accredited Obstetrics & Gynecology residency
• Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Eligibility for or possession of an active Ohio medical license
• Comfort and experience with deliveries, gynecologic surgery, and outpatient OB/GYN care
• Ability to collaborate with MFM specialists and work alongside certified nurse-midwives
• Willingness to participate in a 1:6 shared call schedule
• New graduates are welcome with provided mentorship; experienced physicians encouraged to apply
• Not accepting Locum candidates; no 1099 contractors; J-1 and H-1B visa support not available

Education

• MD or DO
• Completion of accredited OB/GYN residency

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in obstetric care including labor and deliveries
• Proficient in gynecologic surgical procedures and perioperative management
• Experienced in outpatient gynecology and continuity care
• Familiarity with Level II NICU workflows and neonatal coordination
• Strong collaborative skills for working with MFM specialists and certified nurse-midwives
• Effective communicator with patients, families and interdisciplinary teams
• Mentorship and teaching capability for new graduates
