Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate physical therapy services to patients on an inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Collaborate with a dynamic therapy team including PTs, OT, COTA, and SLPs to optimize patient outcomes
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and functional mobility to help them regain independence
• Document patient progress accurately and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
• Float to med-surge unit occasionally as needed to support patient care
• Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as part of the therapy rotation

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Oklahoma (or ability to obtain upon acceptance)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a PTA, preferably in inpatient rehabilitation
• Current CPR/BLS certification (if applicable)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and modalities
• Understanding of inpatient rehabilitation protocols and patient care
• Ability to adapt to different units and patient needs
• Proficient in documentation and EMR systems
• Compassionate bedside manner and patient advocacy
