Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate physical therapy services to a diverse inpatient and outpatient population
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on helping patients regain strength, mobility, and independence
• Treat a wide variety of cases including fractures, orthopedic injuries, neuro conditions, and amputations
• Collaborate with a supportive team of PTs, PTAs, and rehab techs to ensure seamless care
• Document patient progress in MEDITECH and communicate effectively with the care team
• Float between inpatient and outpatient settings as census and patient needs change

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in Texas
• Current BLS certification
• National physical therapy license
• Minimum of 2 years of physical therapy experience
• Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Wound care experience is preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthopedic, neurologic, and general debility diagnoses
• Skill in treating acute, rehab, skilled, and outpatient patients
• Comfort with wound care and VAC therapy
• Proficiency with MEDITECH charting system
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to adapt to a changing patient mix and census
