Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the pediatric dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for our young patients
• Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment
• Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring the highest quality images for accurate diagnosis
• Educate children and their parents on proper oral hygiene techniques to promote lifelong healthy smiles
• Sterilize and maintain dental equipment in accordance with infection control standards
• Provide compassionate and patient-centered care, helping to ease dental anxiety for children

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training
• Current CPR certification
• X-ray certification preferred
• Experience working with pediatric patients is a big plus
• Strong communication skills and a warm, friendly personality

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
• Familiarity with dental software and record-keeping
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with children
