Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents and patients
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Take and record vital signs, promptly reporting any changes to the nursing team
• Help patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
• Support mealtime by assisting with feeding and monitoring intake
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming patient environment
• Communicate openly with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or hospital setting preferred
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts as needed
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to provide a valid state or federal issued identification for facility badge

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and patient care protocols
• Skill in obtaining and recording vital signs accurately
• Understanding of infection control and safety practices
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a care team
• Adaptability to varied patient needs and environments
