Bill Rate: $104,601/year

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI procedures independently, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout each exam.
- Operate MRI equipment following established protocols and safety guidelines, including thorough patient screening for contraindications.
- Apply comprehensive MRI safety standards to protect patients, staff, and yourself from potential hazards.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to optimize image quality and diagnostic accuracy.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures in a timely and thorough manner.
- Participate in quality assurance and continuing education initiatives to uphold department excellence.
Qualifications
- Formal education from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology is required.
- Previous MRI experience in a hospital setting is required.
- Active ARRT Registry and MRI Registry certifications are required.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- Venipuncture certification is required (or must be obtained within 3 months of hire).
- Ability to provide at least two recent supervisory references.
Education
- Formal AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
Knowledge & Skills
- Comprehensive understanding of MRI safety protocols
- Independent judgment and initiative in performing MRI procedures
- Proficiency in MRI technology and radiologic techniques
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Familiarity with venipuncture procedures
- Ability to work under limited supervision
