Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Day shift; 8-hour, 10-hour, or 16-hour shift options available. Specific days and times to be determined based on unit needs.
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to adult and older adult patients on a 32-bed Surgical Acute Care unit
- Manage a 1:5 patient assignment with a focus on trauma patients and acute care needs
- Administer Heparin drips and other acute medications as ordered
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using EPIC EMR
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient recovery and discharge planning
- Promote patient safety and mobility using gait belts, geriatric chairs, and other specialized equipment
Qualifications
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Must have documented med/tele experience
- EPIC EMR proficiency required
- Trauma care and acute medication administration experience essential
- Skilled Nursing, Rehab, or prior NICHE training is a plus
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced unit with a diverse patient population
