Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate respiratory care to pediatric patients
• Assess and monitor respiratory status, adjusting treatments as needed
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and airway clearance techniques
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and home care
• Document patient care accurately and maintain a safe environment

Qualifications

• Active Oregon Respiratory Therapist license (RRT or CRT)
• Current BLS certification (ACLS or PALS preferred)
• At least 1 year of recent respiratory therapy experience
• Pediatric or hospital-based experience strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of respiratory modalities and ventilator management
• Ability to respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
• Comfortable using electronic health records
• Ability to work independently as a per diem provider
