Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity nursing care to a cardiac patient population in a 28-bed PCU/IMCU
• Monitor telemetry and respond swiftly to changes in cardiac status
• Administer cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors
• Manage patients with STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and C/P conditions
• Maintain a focused 1:3-4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Float to telemetry beds within the same unit when needed, adjusting to lower acuity levels

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of documented PCU/Med-Surg/Telemetry experience in a similar-sized facility
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with cardiac drips and telemetry monitoring
• Comfortable caring for cardiac patients with varying acuity levels
• Ability to adapt quickly and work collaboratively in a fast-paced unit
