Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize operating rooms with surgical instruments and equipment
• Maintain a sterile field and ensure strict aseptic technique throughout procedures
• Assist surgeons and nurses during operations by passing instruments and supplies
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to keep procedures running smoothly
• Handle surgical specimens and prepare them for lab analysis
• Collaborate with the OR team to provide exceptional care, including Level 1 trauma and burn cases

Qualifications

• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
• Prior travel experience in surgical settings
• Experience working in a Level 1 trauma center
• Burn care experience preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity OR environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and sterile techniques
• Understanding of OR protocols and patient safety standards
• Skills in trauma and burn surgical procedures
• Ability to adapt quickly to new teams and environments
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
