Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontist during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
• Prepare patients for treatment, making them feel comfortable and informed
• Take and process dental X-rays as directed
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records using Denticon software

Qualifications

• Orthodontic certification required
• Previous dental assisting experience preferred
• Proficiency with Denticon software a plus
• A warm, patient-focused attitude and ability to work independently

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and sterilization techniques
• Understanding of dental charting and patient documentation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Basic computer skills, including experience with dental practice management software
