Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist our orthodontist with a variety of procedures, ensuring each patient feels comfortable and informed
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain a safe, clean environment
• Take and process dental X-rays with precision and care
• Provide excellent chairside assistance, anticipating the needs of the clinician
• Maintain patient records and update digital charts using Denticon software
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or state-specific certification required
• Radiology/X-ray certification (RHS or state-approved) required
• Previous experience in orthodontics is a plus
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• A warm, patient-friendly demeanor and strong communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with Denticon software or similar dental practice management tools
• Strong understanding of orthodontic instruments and procedures
• Excellent infection control and sterilization practices
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team
• Detail-oriented record-keeping skills
