Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments for orthodontic procedures
- Assist the orthodontist during exams, adjustments, and bonding procedures
- Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed
- Help patients feel comfortable and explain treatment steps
- Maintain accurate patient records and update Denticon as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and care of braces and aligners
Qualifications
- Maryland Dental Assistant certification or licensure as required by state
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Previous orthodontic assisting experience is a plus
- Ability to take dental X-rays (Radiography certification)
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and procedures
- Strong patient communication and chairside manner
- Attention to detail and infection control protocols
- Familiarity with dental practice management software (Denticon preferred)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinic
