Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments are sterilized and ready for orthodontic procedures
• Assist the orthodontist chairside during examinations and procedures, keeping patients at ease
• Take and develop dental X-rays and impressions as directed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records using Denticon software
• Create a warm, welcoming environment that puts every patient at ease

Qualifications

• Current Orthodontic Assistant certification required
• Experience in dental assisting with a focus on orthodontics
• Comfortable using Denticon or similar practice management software
• Ability to work Monday, 12:30 PM - 8:00 PM
• A positive, patient-first attitude with strong attention to detail

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic tools, procedures, and terminology
• Understanding of dental radiography and safety protocols
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Excellent organizational and recordkeeping abilities
