Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during patient exams and procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• Take dental x-rays and impressions as directed
• Educate patients on proper orthodontic care and hygiene
• Maintain detailed patient records and treatment plans
• Ensure a comfortable and positive experience for every patient

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training preferred
• Valid dental x-ray certification
• Experience in orthodontics is a plus but not required
• CPR/BLS certification is an asset
• Strong attention to detail and excellent patient communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization protocols
• Ability to take high-quality dental x-rays and impressions
• Comfortable using dental software for charting and records
• Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced office
• A caring, friendly manner that puts patients at ease
