Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms for orthodontic procedures
• Assist the orthodontist during exams, adjustments, and appliance placements
• Take and develop dental X-rays as directed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Maintain accurate patient records and update Denticon software
• Ensure a comfortable and welcoming experience for every patient

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification or license is a plus
• X-ray certification (or ability to obtain) required
• Previous orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred
• Comfortable working evening shifts
• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Working knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization protocols
• Familiarity with Denticon or similar dental practice management software
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach
