Roles & Responsibilities

• Take and monitor patient vital signs to ensure safety during procedures
• Assist with nitrous oxide and IV sedation administration
• Capture panoramic X-rays for treatment planning
• Support oral surgeons during wisdom tooth extraction procedures
• Deliver clear post-operative care instructions to patients and families

Qualifications

• Experience as a dental assistant, preferably in an oral surgery setting
• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent experience
• BLS/CPR certification
• Comfort with nitrous oxide and IV sedation monitoring
• Ability to take panoramic X-rays

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and surgical equipment
• Skilled in patient monitoring and vital sign assessment
• Understanding of sterilization and infection control protocols
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
