Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care to patients, ensuring comfort and safety throughout their visit.
• Perform thorough cleanings, periodontal therapy, and apply preventive treatments.
• Take and analyze dental x-rays to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and support the dental team in delivering high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Dental Hygienist license required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in clinical dental hygiene preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.

Knowledge & Skills

• Excellent bedside manner and patient rapport
• Proficiency with dental software and digital imaging
• Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization protocols
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
