Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver gentle, thorough dental cleanings to patients
• Provide personalized oral hygiene education and preventive care tips
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience
• Focus on prophylaxis without the need for X-rays or exams, thanks to a dedicated assistant
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized operatory
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in New Jersey
• CPR/BLS certification
• Previous experience as a dental hygienist is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently and compassionately in a clinical setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental prophylaxis and scaling
• Understanding of infection control protocols and OSHA standards
• Patient education and motivational interviewing skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a dental assistant
• Knowledge of dental charting and record keeping
