Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during examinations and procedures with precision and care
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized operatory
• Take and develop dental x-rays and intraoral scans as needed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure office efficiency

Qualifications

• Must be orthodontic certified and hold the appropriate dental assisting certification
• Prior experience in orthodontic assisting is highly valued
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support patients
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental office

Knowledge & Skills

• Profound knowledge of orthodontic procedures and dental terminology
• Proficiency with dental software and digital x-ray systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Compassionate patient care approach
