Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients based on physician orders, helping them regain independence in daily activities
• Create personalized treatment and discharge plans that evolve with each patient's progress
• Keep accurate and timely documentation, ensuring seamless continuity of care
• Supervise COTAs while fostering a collaborative and supportive therapy environment
• Partner with doctors, nurses, families, and other team members to deliver whole-person care
• Champion safety and regulatory compliance in every interaction and therapy session

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT or OTD)
• Active state OT license in Wyoming (or ability to obtain one)
• Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills
• A genuine passion for helping others achieve independence

Education

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (MOT) or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient evaluation and assessment
• Treatment planning and implementation
• Discharge planning and resource coordination
• Supervision of Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
• Interdisciplinary collaboration and teamwork
• Accurate clinical documentation
• Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
• Strong occupational therapy clinical skills
