OB/GYN Physician Assistant

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado

Start Date: 05-01-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM clinic with some hospital coverage, Call 1 in 5 days and 1 in 10 overnight/weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $203 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage low and high-risk pregnancies with confidence
Interpret FHR tracings and perform essential OB ultrasounds
Handle routine and complicated vaginal deliveries including VBACs
Assist with C-sections, breech births, and multiple deliveries
Repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations expertly
Provide office GYN procedures like IUD insertions and LEEP
Collaborate with a team of 5 OB/GYNs and 2 mid-levels to deliver top care

Qualifications

Must be a certified NP or PA (CNM not accepted)
Experience in low-risk pregnancy management
Skilled in FHR interpretation via NST/CST/FSE
Proficient in Level I ultrasound screening
Competent in routine vaginal deliveries, low forceps, and C-section decisions
Experienced with complicated deliveries, VBACs, and laceration repairs

Education

Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)

Knowledge & Skills

High-risk pregnancy management
OB ultrasound performance and interpretation
Level II targeted anatomic scans
Office gynecology including IUD, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP
