Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Bryan, Texas
Start Date: 09-14-2026
End Date: 12-07-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 8-hour and 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week, every other weekend, holidays, and on-call as needed
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine imaging procedures, including cardiac, HIDA, bone scans, gastric emptying, GI bleed, lung, brain death, and DAT scans
- Start IVs and administer radiopharmaceuticals with precision and care
- Operate advanced imaging equipment such as the Siemens Symbia T6
- Float between Bryan and College Station campuses to support patient care needs
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
- Maintain high standards of patient safety and image quality
Qualifications
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT) certification required
- Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license or ability to obtain
- Minimum of 2 years of nuclear medicine experience
- Proficiency in IV starts
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and call
Knowledge & Skills
- In-depth knowledge of nuclear medicine imaging protocols and procedures
- Experience with MEDITECH EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS
- Familiarity with NMIS system
- Skilled in operating Siemens Symbia T6 equipment
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Ability to adapt and float between different campus settings
