Shift Type: Rotating 8-hour and 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week, every other weekend, holidays, and on-call as needed

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine imaging procedures, including cardiac, HIDA, bone scans, gastric emptying, GI bleed, lung, brain death, and DAT scans
  • Start IVs and administer radiopharmaceuticals with precision and care
  • Operate advanced imaging equipment such as the Siemens Symbia T6
  • Float between Bryan and College Station campuses to support patient care needs
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain high standards of patient safety and image quality

Qualifications

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT) certification required
  • Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license or ability to obtain
  • Minimum of 2 years of nuclear medicine experience
  • Proficiency in IV starts
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and call

Knowledge & Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of nuclear medicine imaging protocols and procedures
  • Experience with MEDITECH EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS
  • Familiarity with NMIS system
  • Skilled in operating Siemens Symbia T6 equipment
  • Strong patient care and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt and float between different campus settings
