Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Assess resident conditions and develop individualized care plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure holistic care
Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
Promote a safe and healing environment for residents and staff

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan
BLS certification required (from American Heart Association)
Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of geriatric nursing principles and best practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Strong organizational and time management skills
Compassionate approach to patient care
