Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI scans to aid in accurate diagnosis
• Ensure patient safety by screening for contraindications and metal objects
• Position patients and operate MRI equipment with precision
• Review images for quality and consult with radiologists as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Document patient histories and exam details accurately

Qualifications

• ARRT certification (R) with advanced registry in MRI required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• At least one year of MRI experience preferred, but we welcome new grads as well

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of MRI safety protocols and patient screening
• Proficiency in operating MRI equipment and related software
• Strong communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare team
• Ability to handle anxious patients with compassion
• Attention to detail for accurate image acquisition
• Basic computer skills for patient records and imaging systems
