Shift Type: Day shift, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $16 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support residents with mobility and transfer needs, ensuring safety and comfort
- Monitor and report changes in residents' health and behavior to nursing staff
- Assist with mealtimes and feeding, respecting dietary restrictions and preferences
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents
- Document care provided and communicate effectively with the care team
- Uphold residents' dignity and rights while promoting independence
Qualifications
- Active Maryland Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification
- Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Must have completed the original or updated COVID-19 vaccine or present a documented religious and/or medical exemption
- Must bring a state or federal issued identification and wear a photo badge at all times
- Prior experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings preferred
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and safety protocols
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to caring for others
- Understanding of infection control and universal precautions
- Time management and organizational skills to prioritize care tasks
