Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and prophylaxis to promote optimal oral health
• Assess patients' oral health conditions and document findings accurately
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed to support diagnosis
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive, personalized dental care

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dental environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Familiarity with dental software and patient management systems
• Exceptional patient care and customer service skills
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
