Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist dental hygienists with patient care and procedures, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment to maintain a safe environment
• Take and process dental X-rays as directed by the hygienist or dentist
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment information
• Support the dental team with administrative tasks and patient flow

Qualifications

• Certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA) is preferred but not required
• Current CPR certification is a plus
• Prior experience in a dental office setting is highly valued
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Proficiency in sterilization and infection control techniques
• Experience with dental software for patient records
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
