Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the lead dentist during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms
• Take and process dental X-rays with care and precision
• Provide excellent patient care and comfort before, during, and after treatments
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Maintain accurate patient records and support the front office team as needed

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Previous experience in a dental office, preferably pediatric dentistry
• Strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Proficiency in taking dental X-rays (bitewings, panoramics)
• Familiarity with dental practice management software
• Attention to detail and infection control best practices
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and with children
