Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide gentle, compassionate dental hygiene care to pediatric patients in a fun and welcoming environment
• Perform professional teeth cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants
• Take and interpret dental X-rays to help diagnose oral health issues
• Educate children and their families on proper oral hygiene techniques
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Collaborate with dentists to develop personalized treatment plans for children

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist licensure in the state of Maryland
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience working with pediatric patients (preferred)
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, patient-centered approach
• Ability to work evening shifts as assigned

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Proficient in taking and processing dental X-rays
• Understanding of pediatric dental behavior guidance techniques
• Excellent interpersonal skills to connect with children and parents
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental office
