Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to elderly residents, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to nursing staff in a timely manner
• Assist with mobility and transfer of patients, ensuring safety and comfort
• Support residents with personal hygiene and grooming needs, preserving their dignity
• Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of care
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to enhance their well-being

Qualifications

• Active Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in the state of Maryland
• Current CPR certification
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care techniques
• Understanding of safety and infection control protocols
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Team player with great communication skills
