Shift Type: Sunday - Tuesday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (12-hour day shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform standard and complex EEG recordings, including Long Term Monitoring (LTM), Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU), and intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring (IONM)
  • Assist with electrode implantation and design for invasive recordings
  • Perform cortical mapping in the operating room to support surgical teams
  • Recognize clinically significant electrographic patterns and communicate critical results in real time
  • Cover dense clinical protocols including intracranial stereoelectroencephalography (SEEG) and Transcranial Doppler (TCD) studies

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in neurodiagnostics
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Registered EEG Technologist (R. EEG T.) via ABRET
  • Certified Long-Term Monitoring (CLTM) via ABRET
  • Experience with EPIC charting and acute hospital settings
  • Ability to handle complex seizure monitoring and surgical neurophysiology cases

Knowledge & Skills

  • Expert proficiency in EEG, LTM, EMU, and IONM
  • Solid understanding of SEEG and Transcranial Doppler (TCD) protocols
  • Knowledge of electrode implantation and cortical mapping techniques
  • Strong ability to detect and interpret clinically significant electrographic patterns
  • Comfort with EPIC charting and hospital monitoring systems
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
