Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care and education to patients
• Perform dental cleanings, assessments, and screenings
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision and care
• Document patient treatment and medical histories accurately
• Collaborate with dentists and dental staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure sterilization protocols are followed

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in a clinical dental setting is preferred
• Strong commitment to patient comfort and safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
• Skilled in dental radiography and imaging
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation abilities
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilization standards
