Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and preventive care to patients
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and at-home care
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision and care
• Assist the dentist during procedures by preparing instruments and materials
• Document patient treatment and medical history accurately
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and operatory rooms
• Screen patients for oral diseases and report findings to the dentist

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduate from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Ability to work a per diem, call-off shift on short notice
• Strong communication and patient interaction skills
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and sterile environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, tools, and best practices
• Familiarity with digital radiography and dental software
• Understanding of infection control and OSHA standards
• Excellent clinical documentation skills
• Compassionate patient education and chairside manner
