Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care and create a comfortable dental experience
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal assessments
- Take and process dental X-rays with precision
- Educate patients on effective oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile environment
- Document patient care and update dental records accurately
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
- CPR/BLS certification
- Experience in clinical dental hygiene, though new graduates are welcome
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental anatomy, radiography, and periodontal therapy
- Skill in using dental software and digital imaging systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient education
- Understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
