Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care to patients, including cleanings and oral health assessments
• Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring accurate diagnostic images
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Collaborate with dentists and other team members to develop patient treatment plans
• Maintain a clean and sterile clinical environment, adhering to infection control protocols
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia (or compact eligibility)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with dental software and digital radiography preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in dental hygiene procedures and best practices
• Knowledge of dental anatomy, radiography, and infection control
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
