Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional preventive dental care including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants
• Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring clear diagnostic images for the dentist
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document oral health conditions
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Assist the dentist during procedures and ensure a comfortable patient experience
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Pennsylvania
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Radiography certification or ability to obtain before start
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a patient-first mindset

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
• Proficiency in taking and interpreting dental radiographs
• Understanding of infection control protocols and OSHA standards
• Ability to use dental software for patient records and charting
• Excellent communication skills for patient education and teamwork
• Compassion and empathy when caring for patients of all ages
