Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care, including cleanings and oral exams
• Capture and develop high-quality dental X-rays to aid in diagnosis
• Educate patients on proper oral care techniques and prevention strategies
• Collaborate with the dentist to ensure a comfortable patient experience
• Maintain a spotless, sterile environment that meets all safety standards

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Dental Hygienist license (or compact if applicable)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Proven experience in a clinical dental setting
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-first attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in dental prophylaxis and scaling
• Proficiency with digital radiography and dental charting software
• Understanding of OSHA and infection control protocols
• Time management and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
