Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional dental hygiene care to patients including cleanings, exams, and fluoride treatments
Educate patients on oral health best practices and preventive care
Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
Document patient care accurately in electronic health records
Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure seamless patient experience

Qualifications

Current Dental Hygiene license in Virginia
CPR/BLS certification
Strong communication and patient education skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education

Associate degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in dental hygiene procedures and instruments
Knowledge of infection control protocols
Familiar with dental software and patient management systems
Excellent interpersonal skills
