Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a wide range of treatment procedures with precision and care
• Prepare and sterilize instruments to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with accuracy
• Manage patient records and appointments to keep the practice running smoothly
• Provide compassionate care and comfort to patients, especially children and their families
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or state-specific certification in Wisconsin
• Current CPR and BLS certification
• Previous experience in a dental office is strongly preferred
• A friendly, patient-first attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work Tuesday with a shift from 12:30 PM to 10:00 PM
• Comfortable working with children in a pediatric dental setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
• Proficiency with dental practice management software
• Skill in taking digital and traditional dental X-rays
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Attention to detail and commitment to infection control standards
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
