Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the lead dentist during a variety of procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms, maintaining the highest standards of safety and hygiene
• Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care, empowering them to maintain healthy smiles
• Manage patient records and schedule appointments, providing a welcoming experience from check-in to check-out
• Support the clinical team with administrative tasks and inventory management

Qualifications

• Friendly, compassionate, and professional demeanor with a passion for patient care
• Active Dental Assistant certification or license as required by the state of Wisconsin
• Radiology/X-ray certification preferred
• Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Proficiency with dental software and digital record keeping
• Understanding of sterilization techniques and OSHA standards
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Team player with a positive attitude
