Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of pediatric dental procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental X-rays with care and precision
• Educate young patients and their parents on oral hygiene and care
• Manage patient records and ensure a smooth patient flow
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming clinical environment

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred but not required
• Prior experience in a dental office is a plus
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• A warm and patient demeanor when working with children
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of dental terminology and procedures
• Knowledge of sterilization and infection control protocols
• Proficiency with dental practice management software
• Radiography (X-ray) certification or ability to obtain
• Strong communication skills with both children and adults
• Compassionate and patient approach to patient care
